At Ballinteer Active Retirement Association (BARA), our mission is to enrich the lives of retired residents in the Ballinteer community by fostering connection, engagement, and enjoyment.
We provide a welcoming environment where members can come together for weekly gatherings, shared activities, and meaningful announcements about our program.
Through regular day trips, excursions across Ireland, and occasional overnight stays, we create opportunities for exploration, friendship, and discovery. We also support local projects and encourage smaller groups and committees to pursue ongoing initiatives that strengthen our community spirit.
Our purpose is to ensure that BARA continues to thrive as a hub of social, cultural, and recreational activity—catering to the diverse interests and tastes of our members, while promoting companionship, active living, and a sense of belonging.
